‘Stirring the Fire’ Empowers Women Globally; ‘Girl Rising’ Film Debuts at OU

NORMAN–The poignant and profound photography of artist Phil Borges has produced “Stirring the Fire: A Global Movement to Empower Women and Girls,” an exhibition which opens April 13 at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art at the University of Oklahoma, continuing through July 28.

Sponsored by World Literature Today, the OU award-winning magazine of international literature and culture, Stirring the Fire  opens in conjunction with the 2013 Puterbaugh Festival of International Literature & Culture.
