Students involved in arts programs are three times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement and awards

NORMAN — Some 400 arts enthusiasts gathered at the Embassy Suites Conference Center recently for the 2014 Oklahoma Arts Conference, “Our Town, Repurposed. Our State, Reimagined,” three days of sessions designed to ensure sustainability of the state’s diverse and vibrant arts spectrum and to rev up arts curriculum in public education.
